Requirements

  • A passport from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any field

  • Between the ages of 20 – 45 years old

  • Good physical and mental health. A health check may be required when applying for your work permit

Earning Potential

English Teachers in Costa Rica typically earn earn $800 – $2000 USD* per month and can expect to work 20-40 hours per week. * May fluctuate due to exchange rate volatility.
