Requirements

  • A passport from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa

  • Between the ages of 20 – 59 years old

  • To be in good health

Earning potential

English Teachers in Cambodia earn generous salaries of $800 – $2800 USD* per month (3.2 – 11.4 million  Riel) and live comfortably because of the low cost of living.

* USD amounts may fluctuate due to exchange rate volatility.

  • Salaries are based largely on experience in the following way:

    • Non-native English speakers: $800 – $1,000*

    • No teaching experience, no Degree: $1,000 – $1,200*

    • Any Degree, TEFL certification, teaching experience: $1,200 – $1,800*

    • Education Degree and teaching experience: $1,800 – $2,800*
